Permits depredation permit holders to use Collarum® traps or similar Wildlife Resources Commission-approved traps to take coyotes on their property.

Requires daily attendance of any trap set and immediate release of any non-target animals caught to minimize harm to other species.

Mandates that livestock or poultry owners receive depredation permits for coyotes upon request, making permits automatically available rather than discretionary.

Requires permit holders to provide information to the Wildlife Resources Commission on trap effectiveness and efficiency.

Wildlife Resources Commission must adopt implementing rules by October 1, 2010, with the trapping provision effective on that date.
