Amends Chapter 115C of North Carolina General Statutes to add a new section (§ 115C-47.2) authorizing local boards of education to establish campus law enforcement agencies and employ campus police officers.

Campus police officers must meet requirements of Chapter 17C of the General Statutes, take the constitutional oath of office, and have all powers of general law enforcement officers.

Campus police jurisdiction extends to all property owned or leased by the school board and public roads or highways passing through or adjoining such property.

Applies exclusively to the Moore County Board of Education only.

Effective upon becoming law; ratified July 8, 2010.
