Appropriates $5,059,624 from the General Fund to the Community Colleges System Office for the 2010-2011 fiscal year to purchase equipment.

Funding is designated to address equipment needs resulting from record enrollment growth at local community colleges since fall 2009.

Directs the Director of the Budget to include funding adjustments in continuation requirements that account for additional Equipment FTE (full-time equivalent) at the prior year's rate to maintain consistency with student enrollment growth.

Becomes effective July 1, 2010.
