Changes the date requirement for road subdivision standards from October 1, 1975 to October 1, 1985 in G.S. 136-102.6(a).

Applies to owners subdividing land tracts into two or more lots for residential purposes where new streets are created or existing streets are changed.

Requires recording of subdivision maps or plats with the county register of deeds prior to any land conveyance by reference to the map or plat.

Becomes effective July 1, 2010.
