Honors the memory of Ernest Hertford "E.H." Bishop, Jr., born January 22, 1920, in Pantego, North Carolina, and died May 19, 2009, at age 89.

Recognizes Bishop's military service in World War II, including participation in campaigns in Normandy, Northern France, and Central Europe, with wounds sustained on July 5, 1944, and December 11, 1944.

Acknowledges Bishop's military decorations including the Silver Star, Bronze Star, Purple Heart, and Oak Leaf Clusters for valor and wounds in combat.

Recognizes Bishop's community involvement including membership in New Hope Church of Christ, charter membership in Pantego Ruritan Club, Boy Scout Master service, Beaufort County Board of Education membership, and Green Sea Hunting Club membership.

Directs the Secretary of State to transmit a certified copy of the resolution to Bishop's family, which includes three daughters, five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
