Increases the Cabarrus County Tourism Authority from 9 members to 12 members appointed by the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners

Adds three new seats (10, 11, and 12) to be appointed from a list of persons submitted by the Cabarrus County Tourism Authority

Establishes staggered initial terms for the three new seats: Seat 10 for one year, Seat 11 for two years, and Seat 12 for three years, with subsequent three-year terms for all seats

Requires the organization responsible for nominating members to submit recommendations to the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners when vacancies occur
