House Joint Resolution 2080 Summary

• Honors the life and memory of Jimmy Reese Lowry, a North Carolina public servant who died on June 13, 2010, at age 65.

• Recognizes Lowry's distinguished career including service as chair of the North Carolina Commission of Indian Affairs (1977-1984), State Purchasing Officer under Governor James B. Hunt (1982-1983), and chair of the Charlotte Branch Federal Reserve Bank Board (2006).
