Honors the life and memory of Christopher Duffy Collins, a 1995 graduate of Walter M. Williams High School in Burlington who died on September 16, 2005, at age 28 from renal failure.

Recognizes Collins's positive attitude and academic achievement despite being diagnosed with an autoimmune kidney disease requiring over two and one-half years of dialysis treatment while waiting for a kidney transplant.

Acknowledges the Duffy Collins Memorial Scholarship established by his high school for students pursuing nursing or health-related fields and the Duffy Collins Organ Transplant Foundation created by his parents to raise awareness of organ donation.

Encourages North Carolina citizens to become organ donors, noting that more than 3,000 state residents are on transplant waiting lists with less than half surviving long enough to receive a transplant.

Directs the Secretary of State to transmit a certified copy of the resolution to Christopher Duffy Collins's family.
