Extends the fox trapping season in Ashe County from November 1 through February 28 of each year and removes the sunset provision that was set to expire September 30, 2010.

Removes the previous requirement that leghold traps have at least three swivels in the trap chain and eliminates the size restriction limiting traps to size one and one-half or smaller.

Maintains a season bag limit of 10 foxes in the aggregate for all foxes taken during the trapping season.

Repeals previous local hunting acts for Greene County (S.L. 1975-219, Section 3 and S.L. 1987-132, Section 1).

Limits application of S.L. 1985-471 to Nash County only, removing Greene County from its scope.
