Honors the life and memory of Robert J. "Bob" Hensley, Jr., a former North Carolina House of Representatives member who served six terms representing central Wake County between 1991 and 2002.

Recognizes Hensley's 30+ year legal career and legislative accomplishments, including serving as Chair of Judiciary and State Personnel Committees and Vice-Chair of Alcoholic Beverage Control Committee.

Acknowledges Hensley's community service on multiple boards including Yates Mill Associates, Rex Home Health Care, and White Plains Children's Center, as well as his work with Habitat for Humanity and other organizations.

Notes Hensley's death on August 18, 2009, at age 62, and extends condolences to his surviving family members.

Directs the Secretary of State to transmit a certified copy of the resolution to Hensley's family.
