Prohibits the administration of corporal punishment on students with disabilities as defined in G.S. 115C-106.3(1)

Adds new subsection (a1) to G.S. 115C-107.7 stating that corporal punishment shall not be administered on students with disabilities

Amends G.S. 115C-391(a) to include a new condition (1a) requiring local boards of education to prohibit corporal punishment for students with disabilities in their discipline policies

Effective when the bill becomes law and applies beginning with the 2010-2011 school year
