Extends the Legislative Task Force on Childhood Obesity, with member terms continuing until the 2011 General Assembly session and subsequent appointments continuing until the task force terminates.

Task force composition remains 12 members total: 6 from the House of Representatives and 6 from the Senate, each chamber designating one cochair.

Task force shall study childhood obesity and recommend strategies addressing healthy eating and physical activity through early childhood intervention, school nutrition standards, physical education programs, recreational access, and community initiatives.

Task force authorized to submit reports to the 2011 General Assembly and must submit a final report to the 2012 Regular Session, with the task force terminating upon convening of the 2012 Regular Session.

Members receive per diem, subsistence, and travel allowances per state law; task force may contract for professional and consultant services and can meet in the Legislative Building or Legislative Office Building.
