NC S1226

Directs the Program Evaluation Division of the Legislative Services Commission to conduct and maintain an inventory of state programs aimed at reducing or alleviating poverty.

Requires the Program Evaluation Division to evaluate the outcomes and effectiveness of antipoverty programs identified in the inventory.

Mandates the Program Evaluation Division to write and update a history of state efforts to reduce poverty.

Adds these antipoverty inventory and evaluation duties as a new subsection (11) to the existing duties of the Program Evaluation Division under G.S. 120-36.12.

Becomes effective upon enactment.
