Changes the term of office for Cherokee County Board of Education members from six years to four years for members elected in 2010 and thereafter.

Establishes staggered election schedule with elections in 2010, 2012, 2014, and quadrennially thereafter for different district positions.

Specifies that District No. 1 elects two members and District No. 2 elects one member in 2012 and every four years thereafter.

Specifies that District No. 2 and at-large position elections occur in 2014 and every four years thereafter, with at-large member having no residency requirement.

Does not affect the terms of board members elected in 2004, 2006, or 2008; takes effect upon certification of the 2010 election.
