Appropriates $1,250,000 from the General Fund to the Community Colleges System Office for fiscal year 2010-2011 to support the North Carolina Military Business Center.

Funds support business development and assistance services through 12 offices statewide to connect North Carolina companies with federal contracts and military-related business opportunities.

Provides financial support to four state community colleges for business development initiatives related to the five military bases in North Carolina.

Supports efforts to position North Carolina businesses for major service contracts and subcontracts in future military construction and BRAC-related opportunities.

Funds two full-time and one part-time staff positions at the NCMBC and one part-time position at Fayetteville Technical Community College, effective July 1, 2010.
