Allows school buses and activity buses to cross railroad grade crossings marked "Exempt" without stopping, provided the railroad tracks are gated closed when trains are not passing.

Exempts school and activity buses from the standard requirement to stop within 15-50 feet of railroad tracks, listen, and look both directions before crossing.

Applies only to Craven County and becomes effective upon passage.

Maintains existing stop requirements for school and activity buses at all other railroad grade crossings not marked "Exempt" with gated tracks.
