Divides Superior Court District 13B into two districts: District 13B and District 13C, each with one resident judge.

District 13B comprises 12 Brunswick County precincts including Leland, Woodburn, Belville, Southport, and Oak Island areas.

District 13C comprises 11 Brunswick County precincts including Hood Creek, Town Creek, Supply, Shallotte, and Waccamaw areas.

The current District 13B judge residing in the new District 13B area retains that position; the District 13C judgeship is filled by gubernatorial appointment through December 31, 2012, then elected thereafter.

Appropriates $124,421 to the Judicial Department for fiscal year 2010-2011 to implement the act, effective January 15, 2011.
