Requires sex offenders to indicate on initial registration forms the name under which they were convicted, any alias used at time of conviction, and the name as it appears on the sentencing judgment.

Mandates registered sex offenders notify the sheriff within 10 days of any legal name change and requires sheriffs to forward this information to the Division of Criminal Statistics.

Adds name changes to the sex offender registry verification procedure so registrants must report whether they still use their registered name and provide any new or different names.

Directs the Division of Criminal Statistics to maintain the statewide registry so that public searches can be conducted using any name, alias, or legal name change of a registrant.

Appropriates $10,000 to the Department of Justice for fiscal year 2010-2011 for computer system and software repairs to enable name-based searches of the statewide sex offender registry.
