Clarifies that DWI (driving while impaired) treatment courts are a type of drug treatment court under the Drug Treatment Court Act.

Amends G.S. 7A-791 to explicitly include the offense of driving while impaired in the recognized crimes that drug treatment courts address.

Expands the purpose statement of the Drug Treatment Court Act to specifically authorize the creation of DWI treatment court programs alongside drug treatment court programs.
