House Resolution expressing support for Patriot Outreach, Inc., a nonprofit organization founded on September 7, 2006, that provides mental health support to military members, veterans, first responders, and their families.

Patriot Outreach has distributed 95,000 Coping Strategies CDs and over 41,000 downloads to members of all branches of the Armed Forces, veterans, first responders, government civilians, and battlefield contractors to address anger, stress, pain, combat stress, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

House encourages all citizens to consider volunteering their services in support of military personnel, first responders, and their families.

Resolution recognizes the mental health challenges faced by service members transitioning from combat to civilian life and by family members coping with loved ones in danger.
