Amends G.S. 93E-2-9 to require the North Carolina Appraisal Board to report annually to the Department of Revenue by December 31 with information about registered appraisal management companies.

Requires the Appraisal Board to maintain a list of all applicants for registration including application date, applicant name, primary business location, and whether registration was granted or refused.

Specifies six categories of company information to be reported: company name and business names, main address, agent for service of process, legal structure, employer identification number or social security number, and Secretary of State identification number if required.

Requires registered appraisal management companies to maintain all accounts, correspondence, memoranda, papers, books, and records related to services for five years unless the Board prescribes otherwise by rule.

Effective upon enactment; ratified June 21, 2012 and approved June 26, 2012.
