Establish new teacher salary schedules for 2012-2013 fiscal year with separate schedules for "A" and "M" classified teachers, both containing 35 steps based on teaching experience

Set principal and assistant principal salary ranges for 2012-2013 based on school size classifications (Assistant Principal through Principal VIII), with classification determined by number of teachers supervised

Provide salary supplements for all certified personnel with six-year degrees ($126/month) and doctoral degrees ($253/month)

Allocate $83.5 million in recurring funds and $3.7 million in nonrecurring funds from the General Fund, plus $37,706 from the Highway Fund, to implement salary increases and bonuses

Grant 1.8% annual salary increase to permanent full-time noncertified employees and 1.8% bonus to teachers at top of salary schedule, plus 2% bonus for principals and assistant principals at top of schedule
