Replaces "provisional license" terminology with "associate license" for licensed clinical social workers, licensed clinical addictions specialists, and psychological associates throughout North Carolina law.

Permits psychologists to obtain a psychological associate license without a master's or specialist degree in psychology while completing supervised experience requirements.

Modifies supervised experience requirements for provisional/associate psychologists by removing language restricting inactive status and streamlining renewal procedures.

Expands Medicaid EPSDT coverage for children's mental health services to include licensed clinical social worker associates, licensed professional counselor associates, licensed marriage and family therapist associates, and licensed clinical addictions specialist associates.

Changes became effective upon enactment on June 26, 2012.
