Validates all fire protection district tax collections by Martin County since 1956 as lawful regardless of which district or fire department the revenues were collected from or allocated to.

Validates all uncollected fire protection district tax levies by Martin County since 1956 and preserves the tax liens on such levies.

Establishes that fire protection district boundaries in Martin County are defined by a district map approved by the Board of Commissioners prior to July 1, 2012.

Permits Martin County Board of Commissioners to abolish fire protection districts under Chapter 69 by resolution once fire protection service districts are established under Chapter 153A with a maximum rate limitation.

Effective upon enactment on June 28, 2012.
