Requires comprehensive school health education program from kindergarten through ninth grade to include age-appropriate instruction on teen dating violence and abuse as a new subject area.

Mandates that instruction on dating violence and abuse include the definition, warning signs, prevention measures, characteristics of healthy relationships, and resources for students experiencing such violence.

Requires each local school board to adopt and implement a dating violence and abuse policy by January 1, 2013 that prohibits such behavior on school property and during school-sponsored activities.

Specifies that school policies must include procedures for responding to dating violence incidents and provide accommodations for affected students, integrated with existing discipline policies.

Effective upon enactment, applies beginning with the 2012-2013 school year.
