Exempts trailers used by farmers to transport livestock from vehicle registration and certificate of title requirements and associated fees.

Applies when trailers are used to transport livestock from farm to farm or from farm to market.

Expands existing exemption in G.S. 20-51(6) that already covered various agricultural products to explicitly include livestock transportation.

Effective date: October 1, 2012.
