Prohibits members convicted of felonies related to their employment or office from receiving retirement benefits from eight state retirement systems, effective December 1, 2012.

Members forfeit all benefits except return of their own contributions plus interest if convicted of felonies committed while in service where conduct directly relates to their office or employment.

Vested members retain service credit earned before December 1, 2012, but forfeit creditable service accrued after that date.

Members may seek benefit restoration if convicted conviction is vacated, set aside, or they receive unconditional pardon of innocence, with reinstatement requiring repayment of forfeited contributions plus 6.5% annual compound interest.

Applies to Teachers' and State Employees' Retirement System, local governmental employees' retirement system, consolidated judicial retirement system, legislative retirement system, and supplemental retirement income plans for state and local law enforcement officers.
