Exempts structures associated with animal husbandry programs operated by local school administrative units and located on school property from North Carolina building code requirements.

Adds this school animal husbandry exemption to existing exemptions for farm buildings located outside municipal jurisdiction and greenhouses located within municipal jurisdiction.

Maintains existing exemptions and definitions for farm buildings (including equine activities) and greenhouses with specified construction and use requirements.

Effective upon passage into law in the 2011 General Assembly session.
