Makes terminology changes throughout North Carolina's militia laws (Chapter 127A) to ensure consistent and proper references to federal and state military organizations, as directed by prior legislation.

Authorizes the Revisor of Statutes to standardize terminology by substituting "Armed Forces of the United States" for various older or inconsistent terms referring to U.S. military branches throughout the General Statutes.

Standardizes references to the "North Carolina National Guard" throughout the General Statutes to replace inconsistent uses of "National Guard," "national guard," and "guard."

Makes numerous technical and conforming amendments to Chapter 127A including grammatical corrections, clarification of military titles and ranks, and updates to references to federal military service and regulations.

Effective upon becoming law, with all changes directed by prior sessions laws 2009-281 and 2010-152 as amended by the General Statutes Commission.
