Establishes a study committee to review current expunction statutes relating to criminal case dismissals and not guilty verdicts.

Committee membership includes representatives from the criminal justice community, specifically district attorneys and defense bar.

President Pro Tempore of the Senate and Speaker of the House each designate a cochair for the study committee.

Committee must make recommendations for expunction procedures to ensure dismissals and not guilty findings are not unfairly prejudicial to individuals.

Committee must report findings to the General Assembly no later than the beginning of the 2012 Regular Session.
