Honors Dr. Jane S. McKimmon, the first State home demonstration agent appointed in 1911, for establishing the foundation of North Carolina Family and Consumer Sciences.

Recognizes North Carolina Family and Consumer Sciences on its centennial anniversary being celebrated on May 25, 2011, and throughout the remainder of 2011.

Acknowledges the organization's evolution from Home Demonstration (1911) to Home Economics (1967) to Family and Consumer Sciences (1995), operating in all 100 North Carolina counties and the Eastern Band of the Cherokee Nation.

Thanks all past and present agents and specialists for their contributions to improving quality of life for families across the state over the past 100 years.

Directs the Principal Clerk to transmit a certified copy of the resolution to Chancellor W. Randolph Woodson and leadership at the North Carolina Cooperative Extension Service at North Carolina State University.
