Prohibits health insurers from charging higher co-payments for chiropractic services than for comparable medically necessary treatments performed by primary care physicians.

Applies to health benefit plans, subscriber contracts, and policies issued by health maintenance organizations, hospital or medical service corporations, and insurers.

Requires that any limitations on chiropractic treatment coverage match those imposed on treatment by other licensed physicians.

Becomes effective October 1, 2011 for policies issued or renewed on or after that date.
