Exempts public and private linear transportation projects (such as roads and greenways) from post-construction stormwater management requirements if they adhere to North Carolina Department of Transportation best management practices outlined in the "Stormwater Best Management Practices Toolbox."

The exemption applies only to the extent practicable as determined by the city in which the project is located.

Amends Section 8 of S.L. 2006-246 to add this new exemption category for linear transportation projects.

Effective upon enactment.
