Honors the life and memory of Ralph Campbell, Jr., former North Carolina State Auditor who died on January 11, 2011, at age 64.

Recognizes Campbell as the first African-American elected to a statewide executive office in North Carolina when he was elected State Auditor in 1992 and reelected in 1996 and 2000.

Acknowledges his professional accomplishments including completing over 3,600 audits during his tenure as State Auditor, founding R. Campbell and Associates in 2005, and serving in leadership roles with national auditing organizations.

Recognizes his extensive service to the State through memberships on numerous boards and commissions, including the North Carolina Information Resource Management Commission and the North Carolina Local Government Commission.

Extends sympathy to his family and directs the Principal Clerk to transmit a certified copy of the resolution to Campbell's family.
