Requires adult care homes to provide residents with written notice at admission regarding whether the facility maintains professional liability insurance coverage.

Mandates written notice to residents of any modifications, terminations, or non-renewals of the facility's professional liability insurance during their stay.

Facilities with professional liability insurance must include the insurer's name, address, and phone number; coverage amount; names of covered facilities; policy type (claims-made or occurrence); deductible amount; and policy period in the written notice.

Requires adult care homes and nursing homes to post a copy of the professional liability insurance notice conspicuously in a public place.

Applies identical requirements to both adult care homes and nursing homes under the respective statutes (G.S. 131D and G.S. 131E).
