Allows respondents in civil no-contact order actions to be served by means other than in-person service by a sheriff, in accordance with Rule 4(j) of the Rules of Civil Procedure.

Requires the clerk of court to deliver a certified copy of a civil no-contact order to the sheriff on the same day it is issued.

If the respondent was not present in court when the order was issued, the respondent may be served through alternative service methods rather than requiring sheriff service.

Requires copies of orders to be issued promptly to police departments in the victim's municipality, or to the sheriff and county police department if the victim resides outside a municipality.

Applies the same alternative service provisions to any orders extending, modifying, or revoking civil no-contact orders.
