Modifies where tax collections from the Butner Fire and Police Protection District are deposited, redirecting funds from the General Fund to the Department of Crime Control and Public Safety, Butner Public Safety Division account.

Changes the deposit location for tax collections by Durham and Granville County tax collectors from a 25-cent per $100 valuation tax on real and personal property in the Butner district.

Updates G.S. 122C-408(c) to specify that the Town of Butner's annual payment to the State Treasurer (due by May 1) shall be deposited to the Department of Crime Control and Public Safety, Butner Public Safety Division account rather than the General Fund.

Corrects G.S. 122C-411 to establish that fire protection contracts with industries near Butner shall be calculated at 25 cents per $100 of assessed valuation (changed from 20 cents).

Becomes effective upon enactment into law.
