Standardizes terminology throughout North Carolina General Statutes by replacing inconsistent references to military organizations with uniform language such as "Armed Forces of the United States," "North Carolina National Guard," and specific branch names (Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, Air Force).

Updates gender-specific pronouns (his/he) to gender-neutral language (the person's/the individual) throughout multiple statutes affecting military personnel, veterans, and their dependents.

Clarifies references to military discharge documents, veteran benefits, tuition assistance, employment protections, and other provisions affecting service members and veterans across criminal law, education, employment, and benefits statutes.

Authorizes the Revisor of Statutes to make additional conforming substitutions of military organization terminology throughout the General Statutes consistent with the uniform language established in this act.

Effective upon enactment except for Section 69(c), which takes effect July 1, 2011.
