Sterling Montessori Academy and Charter School in Morrisville, North Carolina is authorized to elect participation in the State Health Plan for Teachers and State Employees.

The school's Board of Directors must make this election within 30 days after the act becomes effective.

This authorization waives the time limitation normally required under G.S. 135-45.5 for joining the state health plan.

The school must otherwise comply with all requirements of G.S. 135-45.5 when making its election.

The act becomes effective upon passage into law.
