Raises the minimum age requiring a written medical prescription to use tanning equipment from 13 years old to less than 18 years of age.

Requires the prescription to specify the medical condition necessitating treatment, the number of visits authorized, and the duration of exposure for each visit.

Maintains existing requirement that tanning equipment operators provide consumers with a warning statement about ultraviolet radiation hazards before initial use and obtain the consumer's signature acknowledging receipt of the warning.

Continues prohibition on operators and owners from claiming that tanning equipment is safe, risk-free, or provides medical or health benefits.

Effective upon becoming law.
