Clarifies that medical and religious vaccine exemptions apply to immunization requirements under both Chapter 130A and Chapter 166A of the General Statutes.

Medical exemptions remain available when a licensed physician certifies that a required immunization may be detrimental to a person's health due to contraindications adopted by the Commission for Public Health.

Religious exemptions remain available for individuals whose bona fide religious beliefs are contrary to immunization requirements, upon submission of a written statement.

Expands the scope of existing exemption provisions to include emergency management provisions in Chapter 166A in addition to current Chapter 130A requirements.

Becomes effective October 1, 2011.
