Authorizes the Legislative Research Commission to study implementation of federal food allergy and anaphylaxis management guidelines in North Carolina public elementary, middle, and high schools.

Directs the Commission to investigate opportunities for local educational agencies to obtain grants under the Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Management Act (FAAMA) to support implementation of federal guidelines.

Permits the Commission to solicit input from parents of children with food allergies, health care professionals, the Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Network (FAAN), the State Board of Education, and the Division of Public Health.

Requires an interim report to the 2012 General Assembly session and a final report to the 2013 General Assembly.

Effective upon enactment.
