Requires management arrangements between dentists and management companies executed on or after January 1, 2013 to display a conspicuous warning that dentists have the right to have contracts reviewed by legal counsel before signing.

Defines key terms including "management arrangement," "management company," "professional entity," and "ancillary personnel" to regulate dental practice oversight.

Expands venue for unlicensed or unlawful dental practice lawsuits to include Wake County in addition to counties where acts occurred or defendants reside.

Establishes a task force on dental management arrangement rules consisting of six members representing the State Board of Dental Examiners, North Carolina Dental Society, dentists, dental service organizations, attorneys, and small business owners to study and recommend review processes.

Requires the task force to submit findings and recommendations to the Board by January 1, 2013, and the Board to submit a written report to the General Assembly by February 1, 2013.
