Honors the memory of Ralph Campbell, Jr., former State Auditor of North Carolina who died on January 11, 2011, at age 64.

Recognizes Campbell as the first African-American elected to a statewide executive office in North Carolina when he was elected State Auditor in 1992, serving three terms until 2004.

Acknowledges his professional accomplishments including completing over 3,600 audits as State Auditor, founding R. Campbell and Associates in 2005, and extensive service on state boards and professional organizations.

Expresses the Senate's gratitude for Campbell's distinguished public service and extends sympathy to his family, including two brothers and one sister.

Directs the Principal Clerk to transmit a certified copy of the resolution to Campbell's family.
