Clay County may enter into contracts and leases for renovation and restoration of its old courthouse building in Hayesville without complying with General Statutes 143-128, 143-129, 143-131, and 143-132.

The renovated/restored courthouse building may be leased and/or used as a multipurpose facility on terms and conditions determined by Clay County.

Clay County has discretion over the specific terms and conditions of any contracts or leases entered into under this exemption.

This act became effective upon enactment and expires June 30, 2015.
