Transfers the Fraud Unit from the Industrial Commission to the Department of Insurance as a Type II transfer, keeping the unit intact.

The Fraud Unit operates independently in exercising its statutory powers but is subject to management direction and supervision from the Commissioner of Insurance, including planning, organizing, staffing, directing, coordinating, reporting, and budgeting.

The Director of the Budget shall transfer all appropriations previously made to the Industrial Commission's Fraud Unit to the Department of Insurance's Fraud Unit.

Effective date is July 1, 2012.
