Prohibits operators of tanning facilities from allowing persons less than 18 years old to use tanning equipment, removing the previous exception for minors 13 and younger with a physician's prescription.

Requires tanning equipment operators to provide warning statements to consumers defining potential hazards and consequences of ultraviolet radiation exposure before initial use.

Requires consumers to sign the warning statement acknowledging receipt of the warning before using tanning equipment.

Prohibits operators and owners from distributing promotional materials claiming tanning equipment is safe, risk-free, or provides medical or health benefits.

Effective upon becoming law.
