Validates all collections of fire protection district tax revenues by Martin County since 1956 under Chapter 69, Article 3A of the General Statutes, regardless of which fire district or tax rate the revenues were collected from.

Validates all uncollected fire protection district tax levies by Martin County since 1956 and preserves the tax liens on those levies under Chapter 69, Article 3A.

Establishes that fire protection district boundaries in Martin County are defined by a district map approved by the Martin County Board of Commissioners prior to July 1, 2012.

Allows Martin County Board of Commissioners to abolish existing Chapter 69 fire protection districts by resolution once the county establishes fire protection service districts under Chapter 153A with a maximum rate limitation.

Becomes effective upon enactment.
