Recognizes Delta Sigma Theta as the largest African-American Greek letter sorority with over 250,000 members across 900 chapters in the United States and internationally.

Commends the sorority's commitment to community service through its Five-Point Programmatic Thrust addressing economic development, education, international awareness, health, and political involvement.

Acknowledges the sorority's humanitarian efforts including the Mary Help of the Sick Mission Hospital in Thika, Kenya, and its consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council.

Directs the Principal Clerk to transmit a certified copy of the resolution to the Director of the South Atlantic Region of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
