Department of Health and Human Services must study and report recommendations by December 1, 2014, on extending North Carolina's Health Care Cost Reduction and Transparency Act of 2013 to additional health care providers.

Report must identify recommended categories of additional health care providers to be subject to transparency requirements.

Report must specify what data should be collected from each category of health care providers for transparency purposes.

Report must recommend any exemptions from the Act's requirements for specific provider categories and effective dates for implementation.

Report shall be submitted to the Joint Legislative Oversight Committee on Health and Human Services.
